We've had another great year here at The Park and we're so excited to see how far everyone has come! We know there are some great things in store for our friends who have graduated and hope their families keep in touch with us! Every year we try to have a DVD made for our families to look back on and enjoy BUT with the changes in some of the technology....we're struggling! We've attached the videos from each class and we hope that you enjoy them! Have a wonderful, restful, and safe summer! We can't wait to see everyone when we come back from break!

We hope everyone had a wonderful Spring Break! Before our break, we were reading the book There was an Old Martian Who Swallowed the Moon. In honor of our friend from outer space, we made rockets during our Science Center. Aa is for Allie alligator In honor of Allie alligator, we made Alligator Pie! Our Alligator Pie was too good not to share with our friends in the school! We went and saw Mrs. Trimble-Smith (Assistant Principal), Ms. Karyn (Secretary), Ms. Tiffany (Clerk), Nurse Julie, Ms. Fox (Teacher), Ms. Ponce (SSA), and Ms. Maria (Speech Teacher). Centers are so much fun! Spring is here! We are so excited that Spring is finally here! We decided to celebrate our bird friends by making birdfeeders during our weekly Science Center. We are so excited to see what birds come and visit our birdfeeders! This past week we learned about the letter R. Naturally, we made Rainbow Pie! We enjoyed swirling all of our favorite colors together and then enjoyed our tasty treat! We hope everyone had a wonderful Easter and enjoy our beautiful Spring weather!
We have been talking about animals. In science we have been sorting different kinds of animals. Do they have fur, or feathers, or scales? Where do they live? What do they eat? Check out some of our scientists at work! Centers continue to be a highlight of the students' day as they are able to participate in many activities that help develop communication skills, fine motor skills, and academic skills while learning to follow a classroom routine. Here are some snapshots of center activities: Our interpretation of Old King Cole Math Our Afternoon Scholars have been working on developing Patterns. Zoo Animals in Cages...Kites....and Animals in the Mud (Green Mud in Honor of St. Patrick's Day!) YUM!!!!!! A Visit from from |
